How totals, percentages, and grades are worked out.
Where is my marks ledger stored?
Every subject entry is saved locally in your browser's LocalStorage under the key suh-marks-v1. Nothing is ever uploaded — the ledger is fully local-first, so your marks stay private on your device.
How are total, percentage, and grade computed?
The total is simply internal + external marks scored, expressed out of the combined maxima you chose per row. The percentage is (total ÷ max total) × 100. Grades follow: A+ at 90% and above, A at 80+, B+ at 70+, B at 60+, C at 50+, and F below 50%.
Can I change the max marks for a subject?
Yes. Each row lets you pick an internal max (10, 20, 30, 40 or 50) and an external/theory max (70 or 100) independently — matching how different papers are graded in Indian universities. Edit any row anytime to adjust the scored marks or the maxima.
